I carried my bike up some steps tonight and was so excited. On street view it showed a jackhammer equipped backhoe and demolition of the steps. But tonight I discovered they’d been rebuilt and I passed four people going the opposite way on them. Many might not realize but steps are great for cyclists too. We can shortcut through the city in surprising ways.

When I ride down from beaver county I always have a beer on the picnic table behind the old Duquesne Brewery. Cheers.

I don't think I've ever related so much to a story on the internet hah, April 2020 I broke my Talus while bouldering, 4 surgeries, 3 months in a cast and a year of physio later I was also diagnosed with arthritis. Got my first cortisone injection about 2 years into my injury and it rocked my world. I had the exact same experience that you describe, I was feeling joy and happiness in a profound way for the first time in a long time. Now, after 2 injections I'm starting to think of the damage the cortisone is doing to my joints and contemplating if I should get another shot... Feels like very similar stories although I went through the Swedish healthcare system... Do you have any thoughts on how many cortisone injections to have or potentially fusing the joints?

Im so glad i watched this. I just fracture my talus after falling from climbing. I had no idea what happened or what the future holds. I am scared about the limitations it could mean for me but this video showed me i am not alone and even with limitations you can be happy. Thank you for spreading your positive message ❤

And here I am feeling like I'm acting like a bad person because I have to remind people of my peanut allergy and at pizza parties track who cut what pizza with what knife because someone ordered pizzas with pistachios.... And nearly eating a pizza that seemed like it was all cheese but actually had nuts under the cheese. Happy I found your video but still not happy about the allergy.

That was pretty cool dude I found that tailgating at Penn State has been pretty friendly to most people. I also found that the Nebraska fans were really friendly. The Michigan fans were really friendly well tailgating there at Penn State places you don’t wanna go or Oklahoma well that’s pretty much it. They hate everybody.

Originally from Chicago. Currently I live in Phoenix and hope to move to a much more vibrant city. Pittsburgh has been on the top of my list. I have watched many wonderful RUclips videos on Pittsburgh.......however, your presentations are stunningly well done. You are an artist without any pretensions. I hope to relocate before the end of year. You deserve to be very proud of your documentaries. Thank you ever so much. Sam

Great video. I really miss the friendly people and the sense of community there. Rented there for 3 years and have lived in 7 different areas in the Pittsburgh area within my 35 years. I hope to maybe buy a house there one day. Most of the other neighborhoods I lived in were not horrible but none of those places compare to the Mount!

Definitely found some unique people on those steps… assaulters, drunks/ODs, and a couple dead bodies. Fun is fun, but reality is a bummer too. Be cautious.

I had the idea to move myself into Hazelwood 4 months ago. I live by myself and my 2 pit bulls. I’m not all that sure what pulled my mind into picking Hazelwood but as of the time still being I love my choice. There isn’t much to really do here around or aside 2 Ave. However, that is why I enjoy being in my house so much. The people here are nice and friendly. When I go for a walk I say hello to everyone and I get gracious greetings in return. I’m not necessarily part of any of the families that have lived here for years. But I feel like, “family is who you say it is.” And the people that I live around, treat me as so. I’ve also joined the Hazelwood Initiative so I can be sure that I’m going to the community meetings and up date on any “happenings” around my new community! Thank you Hazelwood ❤ 💁🏽‍♀️🐕🐕☮️

I lived on the Mexican War Street down the street from Franco Harris and attend the Tours. It "was" a Pleasant vibrant place to live.

I lived in Pittsburgh the WORST "TRANSIT SYSTEM EVER"

"LOCAL GOVERNMENT" did not care enough to support the decline!

I lived in Wilkinsburg over 20 years andlove the culture of the neighborhood!

The Pittsburgh City Steps are my favorite thing about the city. I just think they have a unique look that I’ve never seen anywhere else.
